Today is the full moon and it will occur in the sign of Aries. For the next couple of days the Moon and Mars will be in each other’s signs. This can be quite good for uniting our active, passionate nature (Mars) and our emotional nature the Moon. But these two energies are not very friendly with each other, in fact they debilitated each other.

The full moon in Aries is to balance the libra cycle. The next couple of days you may be tempted to over assert your aggressive self. Be careful reaching too hard to reclaim territory you may have lost the last couple of weeks. Or, just curb your enthusiasm. You may be ready to just explode because the sun has been debilitated, along with several other planets. This Nakshatra, ashwini, is related to healing metaphysical energy. It is related to the physicians of the gods. Alternative medicine may be important.

The actual full moon will happen around 11 a.m. on Monday. After that, it would be a good time for initiating new activities, with the moon areas. This section of Ares is more about preserving our vital energy, not expressing an externally. The symbol of this Nakshatra is a female reproductive organ, and also the birth canal. The  womb of creation is literally symbolized here. The deity is Yama, he who takes the soul to its final resting place. There may be a feeling of restriction today.

Monday is ruled by the moon so we may be quite emotional today. Be careful about letting your emotions get too out of control, especially with the moon being so bright and in Aries. Aggression and aggravation are certainly possible today.
