Full Moon / Eclipse in Sagittarius

This Lunar eclipse takes place in Mula Nakshatra, which is related to uprooting things tangible. Rather than pruning the trees, sometimes we have to tear it out by the roots.

This is a potent metaphor for our world these days and you are likely feeling the need to uproot some problem in your life, especially as it relates to what you THINK about things measured against what they REALLY ARE.

This process is especially potent around your teachings, teachers and a larger sense of meaning and purpose – things more abstract, that require faith.

The ego is very clever and a master story teller, especially if it means maintaining a comfortable status quo. The ego is very flexible when it comes to preserving the story,… but at what cost?

This is the pressure of the Nodes in the Gemini/Sagittarius axis. We can only get so far based on our story, individual skills and intelligence (Gemini). Eventually a deeper faith and sense of meaning needs to take hold (Sagittarius).

RADIO SHOW ON THE ECLIPSE

An eclipse calls into doubt the light’s of our life, the Sun (individual power/confidence) and Moon (feeling/reflection/others). We are feeling shaken to the roots in these areas, with an ego in crisis. This is the spiritual promise of the Nodes (the eclipse points).

They orient us toward something much deeper than the level of behavior and survival (including ego survival) that we are prone to on Earth.

We are on Earth, but ultimately not JUST of the earth.

Additionally, the Jupiter / Saturn opposition is bringing together our sense of hope and mysticism.. with a greater sense of determination and mastery of the details. We can not only sense big changes that need to happen, but we feel anxious about NOT implementing them – both culturally and personally. Look at the gulf oil crisis as an= .

Venus in Cancer is quite romantic, but there could be a lot of unreality in this at the moment. Venus wants pleasure and Cancer wants peace. can we really find peace in pleasure? I guess it depends on what we find pleasurable. Sensuality will be revealed as a weakness now.

Mars in Leo is asserting boldness and confidence, reestablishing discipline and strength after being debilitated for so long.
