Saturn in Libra
Saturn moves into Libra on November 15, 2011 where he will be for most of the next 2.5 years. In Libra, Saturn brings his determination effort into the realm of others, fortifying the personal and social contract. The video below has a detailed explanation of why Saturn is exalted in Libra.

The Sanskrit name for Saturn in “Shani”, the same root word as Shanti (peace). We have no peace until we deal with Saturn’s lessons.

I wrote this prayer to Shani this weekend.

Take my mind Shani, it’s yours.

Replace the mess of immature ideas with silence and peace.

Replace the “victim of circumstance” lording over me with the authentic compassion only you can give.

Replace the time wasting laziness with respect and appreciation for every moment, because the last one may come at any time.

Bring the pressure of the past upon me, so I can see my mistakes clearly and feel the pain they have caused others.

Gift me with the forgiveness of those who have wronged me and forgiveness of myself for continuing their negative cycle.

Slow me down in body and mind, so that I may be more present.

And finally, give me focused solitude, so that I may commit to true Self knowledge.

    Sam* Thank you for that! It was very enlightening and inspiring for me personally. I have Saturn in Libra as well as my Moon. Weird time for me entering my Saturn return and going through Sade Sati! I found this simple video to give me a directive and I instantly feel more peaceful :)

    I have Saturn in aries, conjunct Mars. Jupiter is in Libra. My saturn have made disaster for me, but fortunatly when i get older i have learn to chant om namah shivaya every day, think it help. Thanks sam for talking about Saturn in aries too.

    Thank you for the prayer and the video! The email page for the video states "7 Things to Remember about Dealing with Saturn". I probably missed something, but wasn't quite able to glean the 7 things from watching the clip. Would you clarify or just list the 7 things? Thanks.
