Pisces is the sign of surrender, of letting go of our personal desires as well as our collective desires. After Venus moves through Aquarius (and we face our highest collective karmas), there is nothing left to do but surrender, realizing the sum of all of our efforts (if there is personal fulfillment at stake) will lead to disappointment.
If we do not learn the “Venus in Aquarius” lesson, about serving needs and wishes greater than ourself, then the “Exalted Venus in Pisces” can lead to a lot of disappointment. In fact, these two things are almost exactly conditioned on the other. If you have been able to universalize your desires lately, and be more of service, this transit through Pisces can be very liberating. If you have been competing and stressing over YOUR highest personal wishes, then you will feel the deepest disappointment now.
BIG MISTAKE ALERT:
One thing to realize, and it is important. Don’t think that exalted Venus (or any exalted planet) is just going to be “good/give good results”. No way – especially exalted Venus, because she is exalted in places inconjunct the signs she rules (Pisces is 11th from Taurus and 6th from Libra, both difficult houses). In fact this shows the need for us to transform our desires into something more eternal and unconditional than the pleasure/comfort cycle.
Exaltation – and Other “Balas” (Strengths) Show Potential and Activation. Especially exaltation. For those with a challenged natal Venus, this can be a very disappointing time, because Venus is activated full on! If your Venus is not, you will feel the difference between what Venus really is and what YOU are able to express.
In Pisces, there is the possibility of uniting our sense of beauty with the highest, but along the way we must encounter our disappointments – especially romantic/relationship disappointments.
VENUS EXALTATION / PROCESS – POWERFUL UNTIL AUGUST
Some Sobering News:
No one is going to make you happy. Sorry to tell you this, in case you were still hoping. Venus in Pisces can extend you to the limit of tolerance and forgiveness of this, but still hang you out to dry, unless you find the happiness within your own heart.
In the words of my Guru Amma:
Yes, we are alive to be happy. Happy for no reason.
That in a nutshell is exalted Venus.
Whatever conditions your happiness will be felt now, as you will be looking to something higher, more eternal – something of truth – to fill you with sublime beauty. But it may show a disappointment with the expectations of others.
To me the real hell of Venus is in possessiveness. When we try to own a piece of something or someone, thinking they “have our heart”, and without them we will be unhappy – suffering and disrespect, are not far away.
We live amidst immense beauty, but we own none of it – Ma owns it all. The only thing we own or control is ourSelf, which arrives as our attention in the moment.
Fill it with sublime beauty.

My ex's Venus in Pisces was the strongest planet he had, and I could never understand why this did not automatically confer artistic success upon him. It turns out he was the ultimate receiver, the consummate appreciator. As much as he LOVED talent and beauty, he could not develop any of his own, not even for his first love of photography. Any attempt he made at getting something going for business, he could not sustain. He could not take action from a clear sense of mission; anything he did, was from pure impulse. Because I know how essential it is for a man (especially) to be able to take action in his world, and the masculine planets show us this, I'd like to see you do a vid on how to assess a chart for action-taking capacity, and how to tell the difference between this and mere impulsiveness.
Love you more Brah!! ~~~♡~~~ Mahalo Nui!
Nice job Sam. I Loved the waves too..(and the sound during the video) It added to it.. Very informative.
Glad Y'all liked the video.
Rosanna,
This often happens when Venus rules a cruel house. Cancer, Leo, Sag and Pisces ascendants may have an especially hard time in such situations as she is more wispy than active.
Hi Sam,
Venus is an important planet as you might know for an Aquarius lagna,,,, Venus is the POT . hehe
For others who may not know for Aquarius lagna Venus is the ruler of my 9th house.
take care and many blessings and love to you.. Wende
How does one improve Venus????
really really pure beauty with the waves and to see after a while your voice takes the same rythm as the Sea. Its quiet a travel. And a lot to balance right now.
My Venus is soon gonna go through this balancingact.

Namaste Gaurav Kotian:
From my training, one can either wear the stones, metals or chant the mantra of the afflicted planet, and that will help give it more strength. The stone for Venus is diamonds. But, you should check with Sadashiva,(Sam) about this.

Namaste Sadashiva:
Thank-you so much for such a lovely and divine posting . . . . I just love to see my Maha Bharata (Great India), especially the Indian ocean. I have been blessed to have of swimmed in it a few times. Thank-you so much.
Your posting was very interesting and I wanted to comment on your Guru's philosophy of being "happy for no reason". Venus is in Pisces, and Pisces is ruled by Jupiter. Another name for Jupiter is "Guru". You mentioned your Guru in this posting about eight times. I believe another meaning of "Venus in Pisces" is appreciating the bonafide "Guru". The love of the "Guru". So few have a bonafide Guru, one should be extremely happy to have one, because they get you out of the cycle of birth and death and take you back to the spiritual world. This is my pure happiness and nothing else.
Thank-you once again
Hare Krishna

How is Venus exalted in Pisces? Pisces = 12th house ruled by Jupiter. Jupiter and Venus are enemies…are they not?
