Saturn and Venus are mutually friendly toward each other, as they are both concerned with worldly matters. Saturn is more about preserving them, sustaining them, committing to them, etc - and Venus is about enjoying them, beautifying them, sharing them with others. When we lose things of the world, both Venus and Saturn hurt and want to get them back.
A relationship of any sort is the kind of thing both Saturn and Venus mutually support and work hard for. It takes commitment, mutual respect, desire and attraction, humility – among other things.
Saturn moved into Libra on November 15, 2011 – a sign where he is exalted. Even though this is a big Saturn, this exchange comes on the heels of a very influential Scorpio / Mars dominated time (since November) – so it has been overshadowed – except perhaps to those with planets in Libra.
Well no more. This could be a time to recalibrate and revisit some of our connections. Those who have acted through excessive force lately – in an excessively willful, cutting and sharp way (lower Mars energy) may really feel it now. Because the thing is, with Venus now dignified, we are going to WANT that loving connection we may have just blasted apart or taken for granted.
Now is a time when we will be noticing how well we have been upholding our social contracts in many ways – romantically, with friends and in all areas. If we have made mistakes, Saturn will hopefully bring us to the table to apologize and make peace.

Excellent message about the current astrological climate. I certainly feel the shift over the past few days.
I am born with (Neptune conj) Jupiter,3rd h, in the beginning Libra, so right now its a double Jupiter-Saturn, both a natal conj Sat-Jup, and an opposition to transiting Jupiter. So it is felt, but had worser times of Saturnic "stomps" ;D since 5-6yrs now, so this feels like more hopefulness than former Saturnthings.
A Time for building better structures and Hopes!
Met a lot hard times outside of me, and my body crashed/broke down,
and that have made me angry/sad for yrs now. It can be hard to keep balance then.
Since some time I feel I get more understanding for the situation I live with, and this is relieving.
