I recommend you listen to this.

It also registers you for many extra classes and two weeks of forecasts where I take you through each day, Sun and Moon cycles, illustrating these Universal principles.

Of course, you could unenroll from the membership at any time. But i tell you this, I have about 20 Gold members and not a single one has left.

Very helpful – never thought of Planets, Signs and Houses as Sattvic, Rajasic and Tamasic – so obvious but very illuminating. Will sign up now! Thanks

  2. Sam says:

    Thanks Chris,

this is just one of many such frameworks i explore in the Universal Astorlogy Classes.

I give one class from Universal Astrology every two weeks once you are a Gold member.

  3. Thanks for the informative youtube class. I'll never be an astrologer, but I am enthralled with the energy of it, especially the concept of a Supreme Universal Being from whom it all emanates. I'd like to get a reading from you someday, when the timing is right, to analyze my upcoming Sun Period.

I appreciate your chosen vocation and feel it will greatly help uplift the consiousness of the masses to better understand themselves.

  4. Gerardji says:

Sam — One could also argue that Veda is universal and that everything comes out of it. And if anything is life-supporting, then it's Vedic. It's just a different way of looking at it.

  5. Sam says:

    Gerard-ji,

Yes you are right.. but I think the origin is backwards in this case..

Meaning, truth is eternal "Veda" is the Indian system/what they called it and how they systematized it..

But all cultures of the world at that time knew of the truth,, but they called it by the names and forms of their culture..

BUT, the same principles are there regardless..

All of it revolved around body, mind and spirit (Gunas in Indian thinking) all revolved around planetary energies – elements, etc.

    Same energy, different forms..

So, the truth is not Vedic – Vedic is the truth.

The miracle of the Vedic system is that it is still preserved – But all cultures at that time were aware of the same things.

Egytpian, Mayan, Vedic, Druid, Native American, etc. But with the Vedic system the lineage is still there.

That is exactly why I an saying with the Vedic system we actually have the "Universal" system.. it works regardless of culture or practice.. (beyond even astrology itself..)

Pracetana Dasi, thanks for your support.

  6. Tree says:

How does one explain this "universal system" to someone who does not believe in any "universal source" though? In other words frameworks are based on belief systems, such as the Vedic Scriptures, that assign a "divine nature" to the planets, sun, moon etc.

I ask this because lately I've been trying to talk with my partner about such things but he does not have any "spiritual framework" to reference to since he is an atheist and therefore does not see how humans can create a system like astrology and come up with the "energies/aspects/traits" that are assigned to inert objects such as the planets, sun, moon, asteriods, etc.

He won't go along with anything that is presented in the framework of "astrology" because he considers it based on some sort of "belief", "faith tradition (Vedic in this case) and is not "scientific."

He makes the arguement that we as humans are just making this stuff up.

    What do you say?

  7. Sam says:

I have great answer for you, but you have to wait for it..

meaning it is a big question and needs a big answer.

BTW – no need for anyone to "believe in" anything. I don't blame your boyfriend for not believing in things.

However, he has a lot of beliefs himself (at least according to you) such as:

~ "frameworks are based on belief systems"

    ~ "he is an atheist"

~ "inert objects such as the planets, sun, moon, asteriods, etc."

~ "he considers it based on some sort of “belief”, “faith tradition (Vedic in this case) and is not “scientific.” "

These are his/your limiting beliefs.. so he does not study and learn for himself, so he says astrology is a belief system.

It is not a belief system.

But I am just telling you this.

by the way. I have no desire to convince skeptics of anything.. but this reminds me of a great videos class I want to make for you..

    Mind blowing stuff.

    best wishes,

    Sam

He makes the arguement that we as humans are just making this stuff up."

  8. To those of atheistic mindset:

Free will, to act, or think in a certain way is a God Given Gift of the Creator, who is so generous of heart and accomodating to all. In the Bhagavadgita Lord Krsna tells Arjuna:" From Me comes knowledge, rememberance and forgetfulness."

If we want to forget and ignore God, or His Divine Plan for the Universe, then we can exercise our free will, because God never forces us to love Him, or abide by His Universal Plan or Understanding of things.

Astrology is a high science meant for the evolved mind, heart and consciousness. When one is open and receptive then only can one taste the Universal truths. You can lead a horse to water, but you cannot force it to drink. Self will comes from a truly inspired thirst to know the truth. Such an inquiry can never be forced. We all evolve in our own time. It has been said that the atheist sees God, and His universal plan. When??? At the time of death.

  9. Hey Sam, I should mention I am Cancer Moon and Cancer Rising in Pushya Nakshastra, with Mars in Sagittarious, Jupiter in Aries. I like defending the truth, can't help it.

  10. Medhya says:

Well said Lora Melzack. The Buddhist emperor Ashoka also said: One should honor not only one's own religion/beliefs but also the religions/beliefs of others. In so doing one helps one's own religion to grow and renders service to the religions of others also.

i.e. we grow through tolerance of others. By trying to restrict others,we restrict ourselves. We are all at the right place now for our own state of development.

  11. Dear Medhya, I agree. All flowers are beautiful, in their own way, and even the weeds and thorny bushes have their own place in nature's plan. It is all good.
